Comprehensive Assessments
for Clarity and Direction
An evaluation should do more than assign a diagnosis. It should help you understand how your brain works, why certain things have been difficult, and what kinds of support may genuinely help.
Autism & ADHD Evaluations
Thoughtful, individualized evaluations that look beyond stereotypes and consider the full picture—including development, attention, sensory processing, communication, executive functioning, and adaptive skills.
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder
- Executive functioning
- Adaptive functioning
Diagnostic & Learning Evaluations
Comprehensive assessment for overlapping emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and learning concerns. Findings are integrated into a clear clinical formulation rather than interpreted in isolation.
- Anxiety and mood concerns
- Trauma-related symptoms
- Learning and cognitive concerns
- Diagnostic clarification
Our Assessment Process
Consultation
We begin by discussing your questions, concerns, and goals for the evaluation.
Information Gathering
Clinical interviews, developmental history, records, and rating scales help build context.
Individualized Testing
Measures are selected according to your referral questions—not from a one-size-fits-all checklist.
Results & Next Steps
You receive clear feedback, a written report, and practical recommendations for moving forward.
A Comprehensive, Differential Diagnostic Approach
Every individual is unique. Many conditions share overlapping characteristics, and it is common for symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, learning differences, sleep disorders, and medical conditions to look similar.
Depending on your referral concerns, an evaluation may explore:
- Anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
- Trauma- and stress-related conditions
- Obsessive-compulsive symptoms
- Executive functioning difficulties, including ADHD
- Social communication differences, including autism
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Learning and cognitive concerns when clinically indicated
What an Evaluation May Include
Each evaluation is individualized based on your concerns and may include:
- A detailed clinical interview
- Developmental, educational, occupational, and medical history
- Review of previous records when available
- Standardized rating scales and questionnaires
- Cognitive or executive functioning measures when appropriate
- Assessment of adaptive functioning and daily living skills when indicated
- Integration of findings into a comprehensive clinical formulation and report
Rather than relying on a single test or checklist, information is integrated across multiple sources to develop diagnostic conclusions and practical recommendations.
Who May Benefit from an Evaluation?
You may benefit from an assessment if you:
- Have wondered whether you may be autistic or have ADHD
- Have received different diagnoses over the years and would like greater diagnostic clarity
- Feel previous evaluations did not fully explain your experiences
- Experience persistent difficulties with attention, organization, emotional regulation, or social communication
- Struggle with sensory sensitivities or chronic exhaustion related to daily demands
- Want a better understanding of your strengths as well as your challenges
- Need recommendations for treatment, accommodations, or future planning
What You Can Expect
Our goal is not simply to assign a diagnosis. It is to provide a meaningful understanding of how your brain works, identify factors contributing to your current difficulties, recognize your strengths, and offer practical recommendations that support long-term well-being.
Whether the evaluation ultimately supports autism, ADHD, another mental health condition, multiple diagnoses, or no diagnosis at all, you will receive an evidence-informed clinical formulation designed to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
