Therapy That Meets You Where You Are
Therapy at Therapy Dynamics is collaborative, practical, and grounded in understanding. I work with children, teens, adults, and parents who are navigating autism, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the exhaustion that can come from trying to function in a world that does not always fit.
My approach is especially supportive for neurodivergent individuals and families. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I work to understand how you process information, communicate, feel emotions, respond to stress, and make sense of yourself and others. Therapy may include talking, skill-building, emotional processing, problem-solving, nervous system regulation, parent support, or exploring patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides a confidential space to slow things down, understand what is happening, and build new ways of responding. Some clients come to therapy during a crisis or transition. Others are looking for longer-term support with trauma, identity, relationships, emotional regulation, burnout, or self-understanding.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes. The frequency and length of therapy depend on your needs, goals, and progress.
Areas of Support
Therapy may focus on:
- Autism and neurodivergent identity
- ADHD and executive functioning challenges
- PTSD and complex trauma
- Anxiety, depression, and stress
- Emotional regulation
- Burnout and overwhelm
- Parenting autistic or neurodivergent children
- Relationship and communication challenges
- Self-esteem and self-advocacy
- Chronic illness and life adjustment
- Life transitions, family changes, and divorce
Therapy for Children and Teens
I work with children and teens ages 5–17 who are experiencing challenges related to autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, emotional regulation, or social stress.
Child therapy is designed to help children feel safe, understood, and supported. I use the full therapy session to work directly with your child. Parent sessions are scheduled separately, typically about once per month, to discuss concerns, progress, and strategies for support at home. This helps protect therapy as a safe space for the child while still giving parents meaningful guidance.
A Strengths-Based Approach
Therapy is not about fixing who you are. It is about understanding your patterns, building on your strengths, and developing tools that help you move toward the life you want.
Strengths-based therapy helps identify what already works in you—your values, persistence, sensitivity, creativity, insight, logic, compassion, or problem-solving ability—and uses those strengths as a foundation for growth.
What to Expect
You can expect therapy to be respectful, direct, and collaborative. I welcome honest conversations, including feedback about what is or is not working. Together, we will create a space where you do not have to perform, mask, or pretend everything is fine.
The goal is to help you better understand yourself, communicate your needs, strengthen coping skills, and build a life that feels more sustainable and meaningful.
