About Us

I’m Kristen Math, MS, MA, LPCC, and I founded Therapy Dynamics to offer compassionate, neurodivergent-affirming care that honors the complexity, strengths, and struggles of every individual I serve.

I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor with advanced training in psychological assessment, autism and ADHD evaluation, and trauma-informed therapy. I hold dual master’s degrees in Molecular Biology and Counseling & Psychological Services, with a minor in Psychological Assessment. I’ve completed extensive training under a PhD neuropsychologist and spent two years conducting psychological research on PTSD at the Minneapolis VA. I bring both scientific rigor and deep empathy to my work.

My clinical practice focuses on autism and ADHD evaluations for children, teens, and adults, as well as therapy for anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and neurodivergent identity development. I also facilitate neurodivergent-affirming therapy groups for autistic adults and provide supportive spaces for self-discovery and healing.

But my passion for this work didn’t start with a textbook, it started with the people I love.

Some of the people who matter the most to me are autistic. Their resilience, insight, and brilliance inspire me every day. I’ve also seen how often they’ve been misunderstood, dismissed, or failed by systems that weren’t designed for them. That’s what drives me. I do this work to help bridge the gap between needs and access, and to ensure that autistic people are seen, supported, and celebrated.

At Therapy Dynamics, you’ll find a space where:

  • Masking is not expected.
  • Communication differences are respected.
  • Strengths are valued as much as struggles.
  • Assessments and therapy are done with you, not to you.

I believe that every person deserves access to care that recognizes who they are, not who they’re expected to be. Whether you’re here seeking answers, support, or just someone who understands, I’m truly honored to be part of your journey.
