About us
I’m Kristen Math, MS, MA, LPCC-S, founder of Therapy Dynamics and here to tell you a little about us. At Therapy Dynamics PLLC, I am passionate about identifying adults and children who are autistic or have ADHD to help them find the resources that they need. At Therapy Dynamics, I offer remote ADHD and autism testing in Minnesota.
My Educational Background
I graduated with my Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2015. I wrote my thesis on the neuropsychological evaluation of autism, and took additional coursework in assessment.
Training in Assessment
During this time, I also completed an assessment practicum and a counseling and assessment internship with a neuropsychologist. There, I learned assessment techniques, test interpretation, and report writing. I worked under a neuropsychologist in autism and ADHD assessment and as a counselor for nearly five years with neurodivergent individuals. My role was to administer and score assessments, interpret test results, and write psychological reports, as well as providing therapy.
Later, I transitioned to online assessment work at the Minneapolis VA. At the end of that project, I began contributing as a social skills coach for individuals and their families on the autism spectrum. I was also the Membership Chair for the Minnesota Counseling Association from 2022-2023 and have been a board approved supervisor since 2024. I have certificates in Autism Across the Lifespan and Psychological Testing from the Zur Institute and a certificate in Telemental Health and Psychological Assessments from the Telehealth Certification Institute.
Before qualifying in counseling, I earned my MS in molecular biology in 2001 from the University of Florida College of Medicine and taught biology lab classes from 2001-2005 at St. Cloud State University in their undergraduate program.
Why Therapy Dynamics?
I started Therapy Dynamics PLLC in 2021 as a safe place for adults and families to get quality online assessments. My mission is to provide individuals and families with resources so that they can get the support and help that they need. My interest in providing care for neurodivergent individuals grew out of my love for people in my life closest to me who are autistic and have ADHD. This is a passion that has only grown over time. I will go above and beyond for you. My practice includes individuals 7 years old through 85.

Psychometrist
Sam Galarneault
Samantha Galarneault, graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2015. She has experience in psychological assessment administration and has worked alongside Kristen for many years. Sam works as the office psychometrist, administering cognitive and executive functioning tests. Her experience shines through and she is just an easy, fun person to work with. Sam also works part-time assisting with new clients, scheduling, emailing assessments and running the social media account. She can be reached at [email protected].
Financial Manager
Alex
Alex recently graduated with his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and is preparing to apply for medical school. He joined us as the financial assistant in July of 2022. Alex manages the budget, does the accounting and keeps up with the business plan.

Amanda Math is an RN student who currently helps with office management, advertising, and medical records.

Assistant Therapist
Misty acts as the assistant therapist. She is a patient listener who sometimes contributes to sessions! Rest assured, she is always there for you!
